Benjamin Neto scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Gastres FC defense, Piotr Rybak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Ongile. The Gastres FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Ongile should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Calistrat Geangu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Owsiak came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Calistrat Geangu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Geangu in the 36th minute of the match. Gastres FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Neto in the 37th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Voyager Soccer Team's Waldemar Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Neto in the 52nd minute of play. Teobaldo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Quintal having to interfere. Teobaldo Belmiro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Waldemar Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. Geronimo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Rybak in the 57th minute of play. Calistrat Geangu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Bai Kun Yang took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Ongile. Geronimo Ongile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Voyager Soccer Team made a substitution. Ronaldão Silveira replaced Alun Harmon. Gastres FC's Göran Nyström was substituted for Feliberto Cuarto. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Piotr Rybak put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Ongile. 77 minutes into the match, Benjamin Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Quintal. Voyager Soccer Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Voyager Soccer Team's Cícero Leite was substituted for Alfred Owsiak. Benjamin Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Quintal having to make a save. Gastres FC made a substitution. Edgardo Javiar replaced Benjamin Neto. Edgardo Javiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Waldemar Quintal made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Voyager Soccer Team's zone, Edgardo Javiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Quintal came out of the goal and Edgardo Javiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Marques came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgardo Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bai Kun Yang came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edgardo Javiar came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gastres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Javiar couldn't finish the play. Voyager Soccer Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
