Geronimo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Teobaldo Belmiro put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Neto got free with Pavlos Konstantakakis in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianni Balla in the 77th minute of play.
