The supporters of vascão o Melhor booed when Union Lara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txerran Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lei Fei Song's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Muro was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. If Mané Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tome Usel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gust Deflandre in the 11th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Union Lara FC's goalkeeper Tome Usel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gust Deflandre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tome Usel having to make a save. The supporters of Union Lara FC booed when vascão o Melhor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Lei Fei Song from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Kevin Muro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kevin Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Fei Song, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Union Lara FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lei Fei Song in the 36th minute. Tome Usel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gust Deflandre's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Kevin Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Fei Song in the 51st minute of the match. Veremundo Salz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Union Lara FC's zone, Gust Deflandre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tome Usel came out of the goal and Gust Deflandre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Union Lara FC made a substitution. Francis Salazar replaced Lei Fei Song. After a rather tough play, Union Lara FC's Artur Acereda got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gust Deflandre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Fanuco charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Fanuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Cirilo Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Edilberto Lacalle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kevin Muro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 72nd minute, vascão o Melhor's Gust Deflandre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tome Usel. Tome Usel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 79th minute, Mané Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gust Deflandre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Tome Usel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When vascão o Melhor's Gust Deflandre in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Union Lara FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wellington Cabral hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Gust Deflandre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tome Usel, 0-2. The vascão o Melhor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing vascão o Melhor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
