Peter Schmeichel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Hakan Mahçupyan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Nizam Soner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Wassenius in the 37th minute of play. Ahmet Hakan Mahçupyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Cavit Kutlan threw the ball into play from the sideline.
