Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Lia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Lia in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Lauro saved Guansa from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Cesar Opilano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Cortez, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 30th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Alfonso Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Laurendi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristobal Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos de Carelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Mendiko to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Guansa's Alfonso Lauro got control of the ball when Eusebio Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Cristobal Lia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Lauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute Cristobal Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Montrel got free with Alfonso Lauro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84thth minute of the game Pavao Zadro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guansa's Alfonso Lauro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pavao Zadro in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Lauro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alfonso Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavao Zadro's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Prospero Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Pavao Zadro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Lauro stood somewhat misplaced when Pavao Zadro came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 96 minute. When the final whistle sounded Lobos de Carelia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guansa.
