At last the ball reached Pascual Macia at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Brugge United. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Miramont in the 10th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 11th minute when Aleix Rosanes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Albert Canyelles made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Vissenaeken got free with Albert Canyelles in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes of play, Red Hawk Football Club's Aleix Rosanes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Baia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleix Rosanes in the 31st minute of play. Guido Vissenaeken received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albert Canyelles came out and tried to block the shot, but Guido Vissenaeken slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 33rd minute. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Macia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Albert Canyelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Macia came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aleix Rosanes was the one to do the kick off. Jaume Vilardell replaced Aleix Rosanes. After some careless play in the Red Hawk Football Club defense, Goffrey Sas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Canyelles. The Red Hawk Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Canyelles should have stopped the shot. Red Hawk Football Club's Mateo Rivas was substituted for Gerard Dalmau. Brugge United's Laurențiu Roşculeţ quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joan Canosa, made in the 74th minute of the game. Brugge United's Sandro Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Red Hawk Football Club booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goffrey Sas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goffrey Sas took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Canyelles. Albert Canyelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Brugge United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
