I.'s Alirio Ducoing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 4th minute of play. Carlos Sergi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Guido Vissenaeken might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alirio Ducoing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Vissenaeken ran back to his position shaking his head. Alirio Ducoing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 7th minute of the match. Alirio Ducoing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Guido Vissenaeken made a precise shot to the right of Alirio Ducoing. Q. T. I.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Guido Vissenaeken struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alirio Ducoing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. Alirio Ducoing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Vissenaeken in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alirio Ducoing saved Q. T. I. from getting behind. Alirio Ducoing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Carlos Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Guido Vissenaeken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Brugge United made a substitution. Arnauld Van Impe replaced Guido Vissenaeken. 55 minutes into the match, Arnauld Van Impe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alirio Ducoing, 0-3. After having played for 61 minutes, Arnauld Van Impe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnauld Van Impe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Q. T. I.'s Horacio Dolfo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Baia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Q. T. I.'s Casimiro Guillelmus was substituted for Julian Raymundo. Alirio Ducoing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 68th minute. In the 75th minute, Arnauld Van Impe made a precise shot to the right of Alirio Ducoing. Q. T. Jonas Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Baia having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Txerran to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Anibal Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Q. T. I. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brugge United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
