Guido Vissenaeken kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alfons Bagge hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Brugge United's Vítor Baia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. Guido Vissenaeken scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Borczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Borczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Arnauld Van Impe might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Borczak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnauld Van Impe ran back to his position shaking his head. A&K SPARTA BRADFORD's Daniel Borczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save A&K SPARTA BRADFORD from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl-Johan Ştercă in the 65th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnauld Van Impe got free with Daniel Borczak in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Ümit Karan got a free kick in the 70th minute. Daniel Borczak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnauld Van Impe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 73 minute of play. A&K SPARTA BRADFORD's Vincente Acha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandro Gaúcho, made in the 87th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Maciej Rosolek made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Baia. Brugge United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-7. When the final whistle went the supporters of Brugge United were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant A&K SPARTA BRADFORD side.
