With a left leg Karol Ruszkowski saved Zgierskie Zlewy from getting behind. Almeyra F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victorio Sabino in the 24th minute. The corner led Almeyra F.C.'s Victorio Sabino to fire away a dangerous shot which Karol Ruszkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Robert Doicaru struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cristo Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zgierskie Zlewy. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Cristo Colas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Remir in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hadi Özilhan came free, but Cristo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Robert Doicaru took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cristo Colas to make any attempt to save it. 45 minutes into the game, Samuel Muno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zgierskie Zlewy the free kick. Samuel Muno hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Doicaru was the one to do the kick off.
