In the 17thth minute of the game Frasier Huber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fml Cobiçados HD's Géza Vlaszák was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SalentoUnited booed when Fml Cobiçados HD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Alvarenga got free with Igor Brandenberg in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Géza Vlaszák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SalentoUnited had won after a very even match.
