Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pranas Užkuraitis in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisito Nesor during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of The Northmen Army booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute The Northmen Army were awarded a corner. Hjalmar Håkansson went to the cornerflag to take it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
