During this time Vampiros Aztecas's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Agurto in the 10th minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Juan Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Verheydt got free with Dadhyan Rudrappa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Verheydt to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led ORION F.C.'s Dé Santos to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Chayo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 55th minute, Thomas Verheydt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Vampiros Aztecas from getting a goal against them. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Abeitia in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kosin Rumbiak in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Benicio Cedro got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Thomas Verheydt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadhyan Rudrappa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Torrijos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Rolf Weyand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dadhyan Rudrappa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
