The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 16 minutes into the match, Luca Pancu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ORION F.C.'s Cristóbal Campos. Cristóbal Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute of the game George Vârșan made a throw-in which Luca Pancu played forward. Cristóbal Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Pancu in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Luis Quirós hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ORION F.C.'s zone, Luca Pancu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóbal Campos came out of the goal and Luca Pancu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Ciocoiu came free, but Cristóbal Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Pancu in the 36th minute of play forced ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristóbal Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóbal Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Pancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Torrijos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Francisc Ciocoiu made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Pancu in the 54th minute of play forced ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristóbal Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ORION F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Gheorghe Bociort scored to the left of an out of position Cristóbal Campos, making the score, 1-2. ORION F.C. made a substitution. Mikail Savgat replaced Enrique Gutierrez. Felipe Orozco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Ciocoiu got free with Cristóbal Campos in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Villalaz in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Santos came free, but Iacob Povară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Torrijos in the 76th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Agurto in the 80th minute of play. Iacob Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Santos in the 81st minute of play. Cristóbal Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Bociort in the 84th minute. When Gheorghe Bociort came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Bociort couldn't finish the play. Gheorghe Bociort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóbal Campos having to interfere. ORION F.C. made a substitution. Toto Pinilla replaced Franklin Agurto. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA played a much better game than ORION F.C. and deserved their victory. The ORION F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
