With a little luck, Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Lönn tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Lönn got free with Daniel Chaves in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dragões Barbudos FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Formentera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Semeloglou took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Semeloglou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Estefan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fausto Ronconis short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Daniel Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Lönn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Chaves. Jan-Erik Lönn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Fausto Ronconi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragões Barbudos FC's Luke Olle got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Sugar. Luke Olle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luke Olle to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luke Olle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Babür Kongurtay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Justo Estefan came out and tried to block the shot, but Babür Kongurtay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 57th minute. After 70 minutes, 龙建烨 made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dragões Barbudos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
