The audience was convinced that Geraldo de Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Vennerdal was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Ivar Persson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blair McCormick. Waldemar Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jack Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the game, Kolsva FK's Ivar Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blair McCormick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Geraldo de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Bengtsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Blair McCormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Persson in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Guerra in the 36th minute of play forced Kolsva FK's goalkeeper Niclas Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Taquaral Campineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Persson came free, but Blair McCormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Geraldo de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ivar Persson made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taquaral Campineiro! With a little luck, Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick got control of the ball when Ivar Persson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes in the game Thiago Silvan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Giovani Teixeira. In the 59th minute, Geraldo de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Kolsva FK's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Godoi came free, but Niclas Vennerdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kolsva FK's zone, Geraldo de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Vennerdal came out of the goal and Geraldo de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivar Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Persson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Blair McCormick when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Blair McCormick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Persson in the 71st minute. The supporters of Taquaral Campineiro booed when Kolsva FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Raúl Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquaral Campineiro's protests and gave Raúl Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Taquaral Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Persson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blair McCormick having to make a save. Kolsva FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquaral Campineiro the free kick. In the 95th minute Geraldo de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Vennerdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kolsva FK defense, Donato Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niclas Vennerdal. The Kolsva FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niclas Vennerdal should have stopped the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
