Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Balc in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Stone City getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Simon Tomasson hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Balc came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Pavel Balc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Yves Passot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stone City's Dragomir Marchovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Pavel Balc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stone City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Balc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pavel Balc to strike the kick off in the second half. Christophe Troxler made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Pavel Balc sent off a good shot on target. Leon Matthäus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christophe Troxler having to make a save. But to his dismay, Reuben Meade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 86 minutes into the match, Leon Matthäus notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler. Christophe Troxler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ticho Covarrubias's late challenge caught a Stone City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ticho Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Ticho Covarrubias got a free kick in the 89th minute. Leon Matthäus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragomir Marchovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ticho Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Stone City's Leon Matthäus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christophe Troxler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute of the match Stone City got a corner. Montevideo City Torque's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dalmacio Rufio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Stone City's Dalmacio Rufio to fire away a dangerous shot which Christophe Troxler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 96 played minutes Dalmacio Rufio shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler to catch but Dalmacio Rufio was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Stone City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
