Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christophe Troxler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Di Vincenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Passot in the 22nd minute of play. Elia Di Vincenzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Troxler having to interfere. Elia Di Vincenzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Christophe Troxler made a huge save. After 29 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Inácio de Salles. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Passot in the 30th minute of the match. Christophe Troxler made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cesare Punta sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Yves Passot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes Montevideo City Torque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elia Di Vincenzo who took care of the corner kick. Elia Di Vincenzo made a great header on Sao Brasola's corner, it was just that Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler managed to reach the ball for a save. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Inácio de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sao Brasola's Joseph Asklöv was substituted for Caetano Velasques. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Inácio de Salles got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yves Passot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joseph Asklöv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christophe Troxler having to make a save. Montevideo City Torque made a substitution. Reuben Meade replaced Yves Passot. In the 58th minute, one of Montevideo City Torque:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montevideo City Torque. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Sao Brasola. Elia Di Vincenzo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christophe Troxler. 2-1. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Damm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Meade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reuben Meade. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Punta in the 71st minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ospetsu Villarmerin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Montevideo City Torque's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alkestis Papadopulos in the 85th minute. Cristian Leizaur was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sao Brasola fully deserved thier win.
