Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rickard Erserman got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loco De la Maza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Falckner FC defense, Rickard Erserman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco De la Maza. The Falckner FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco De la Maza should have stopped the shot. Mercurio San Martín hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Gianluca Vialli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Erserman in the 20th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loco De la Maza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the Falckner FC defense, Rickard Erserman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco De la Maza. The Falckner FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco De la Maza should have stopped the shot. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Erserman in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco De la Maza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal was substituted for Rickard Erserman. The throw-in from Albino Zenteno in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Falckner FC's Segundo San Segundo. After the first half Inter de Chillán were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Gaspar Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vatan Enfal came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Loco De la Maza could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Enfal in the 67th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falckner FC's Jose Baldovino was substituted for Olaf Ciempa. With a little luck, Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza got control of the ball when Vatan Enfal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Vatan Enfal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Chillán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Vatan Enfal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loco De la Maza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Shantala in the 86th minute of play. Vatan Enfal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Loco De la Maza 88 minutes into the match. The Falckner FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Inter de Chillán's performance. The match ended with a win for Inter de Chillán.
