Alfonso Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 6th minute of play. Alfonso Festa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cassaretto in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Festa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. BELGRANO's zone, Enrique Cassaretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Festa came out of the goal and Enrique Cassaretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Gustavo Eladio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. BELGRANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Eladio in the 28th minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alfonso Festa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, C. A. BELGRANO's George Forsyth threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustavo Eladio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 35th minute of play. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 39th minute of play forced C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper Alfonso Festa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Cassaretto scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Festa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tulio Andinyach took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Festa. Alfonso Festa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The C. A. BELGRANO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Municipal were winning 1-4.

In the 55th minute Gustavo Eladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Festa came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 63 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper Alfonso Festa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was substituted for Zlatan Molina. CD Municipal's Evtim Kúrdzhev was substituted for Tulio Andinyach. C. A. BELGRANO made a substitution. Prudencio Cordarell replaced Adolfo Guib. CD Municipal made a substitution. Ryota Miyagi replaced Enrique Cassaretto. Mosen Colillas made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ryota Miyagi however managed to control. Alfonso Festa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Alfonso Festa made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Oalo Dean sent off a good shot on target. It was a well-played corner which Prudencio Cordarell managed to volley towards the net. Alfonso Festa had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Evtim Kúrdzhev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Ryota Miyagi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Festa was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryota Miyagi in the 88th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, C. A. BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Ryota Miyagi came free, but Alfonso Festa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ryota Miyagi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Festa was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on CD Municipal's corner Iacob Roman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Festa quite easily take care of the ball. The CD Municipal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Municipal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
