Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justus Lintorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 48th minute, Ahmet Demircioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cai Wei Xi to make the kick off. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Wei Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Bryson got free with Nicasio Abad in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronalds Koeman made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Catana Dinha however managed to control. Cai Wei Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Ruttens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cai Wei Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 63rd minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 71st minute of play. C. A.
