The supporters of Randkleve booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Barral in the 23rd minute of play. Symba's Tacettin Umay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. Tacettin Umay was slow to take the kick. During this time Symba's players had a chance to rest. Symba's Tacettin Umay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucjan Sedzikowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Symba defense, Claudinei Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anis Achour. The Symba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anis Achour should have stopped the shot. Randkleve's Lucjan Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Arantes in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Sílvio Veiga put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucjan Sedzikowski. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Claudinei Barral took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Anis Achour to make any attempt to save it. The Randkleve supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Randkleve would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
