An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 14th minute of play forced Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Ree might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Ree ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st match minute, Mineiros Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artem Savin to maneuver through the defense. Marcus de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Joachim Mæhle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albinus Alking in the 31st minute of play. Axel Ree struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marcus de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monks in Robes. When Axel Ree came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Monks in Robes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Ree couldn't finish the play. Marcus de Godoi came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Axel Ree. But to his dismay, Axel Ree quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin von Gyldenfeldt made a kick off. With a little luck, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi got control of the ball when Rikki Askhim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Ree was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Ree scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mineiros Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 62nd minute of play. Marcus de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Ree's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Elder Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 73rd minute of the match. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wallace Randall in the 75th minute of play. Mineiros Esporte Clube's attack was well implemented in the 75th minute, but when Wallace Randall was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monks in Robes's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho Seco during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Monks in Robes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 93rdth minute of the game Axel Ree who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus de Godoi was a little too slow when Axel Ree got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monks in Robes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
