Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anis Achour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anis Achour made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mazinho Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Marcus de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sadok Sfar's late challenge caught a Mineiros Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Symba's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
