The audience was convinced that Georges-Philippe Coussement's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Bufi was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 余永川 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Brack having to make a save. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gwidon Cwojdak hit a great ball. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Oswaldo Maranhense was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Brack in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. GKS Milenium's Artur Brack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Milenium from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georges-Philippe Coussement in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Bufi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GKS Milenium were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Izydor Kaider took the corner. Georges-Philippe Coussement might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Bufi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georges-Philippe Coussement ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Georges-Philippe Coussement put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arthur Bufi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Tasso in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Bufi saved Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting behind. In the 41st minute GKS Milenium were awarded a corner. Izydor Kaider went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 47thth minute of the game 余永川 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Milenium's Artur Brack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half GKS Milenium were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwidon Cwojdak made a kick off. Artur Brack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余永川 in the 51st minute of the match. Georges-Philippe Coussement fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Bufi having to interfere. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Douglas Botelho was substituted for Hélder Lara. In the 62nd match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Cwojdak to maneuver through the defense. Gwidon Cwojdak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Cristi Saron was substituted for Oswaldo Maranhense. Georges-Philippe Coussement might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Bufi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georges-Philippe Coussement ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Brack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 77 minutes into the game, Gwidon Cwojdak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Artur Brack was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute of the game 李翔林 made a throw-in which Vito Tasso played forward. GKS Milenium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
