In the 7th minute 余永川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's attentive Ye Hong Shi managed to snatch the ball when Manuel Roukeloes made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Romário Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Young Ostend United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cruzeiro Esporte Clube a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oswaldo Maranhense, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp. 0-1. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Asselberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Filip Joks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arthur Bufi, 1-1. Arthur Bufi made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Romário Molina sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 33 minutes, 余永川 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but 余永川 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Ibar hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Stanny Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Asselberghs came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Gwidon Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanny Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Ye Hong Shi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
In the 54thth minute of the game Jason Asselberghs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Filip Joks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Romário Molina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Young Ostend United from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Young Ostend United's 秦昂平 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Bufi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Molina in the 76th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 余永川 came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 余永川 couldn't finish the play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Olavo Quadros was substituted for Pedro Paulo Dante. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Young Ostend United's Romário Molina. But to his dismay, Romário Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Jason Asselberghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute Romário Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Jason Asselberghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Gerardo Ibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young Ostend United the free kick. Gerardo Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 余永川 in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanny Van Gorp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Young Ostend United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
