C.'s Murilo Prestes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murilo Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Delmiro Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, SORRISO E. C.'s Gustavo Romero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmiro Duardo. Delmiro Duardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Murilo Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Duardo. Matadores de Luro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Delmiro Duardo was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Murilo Prestes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murilo Prestes really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. If Cléber da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Delmiro Duardo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cléber da Costa sent off a good shot on target. Murilo Prestes succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. With a little luck, Matadores de Luro's Delmiro Duardo got control of the ball when Cléber da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Murilo Prestes from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Delmiro Duardo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Matadores de Luro defense, Cléber da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Duardo. The Matadores de Luro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Duardo should have stopped the shot. Delmiro Duardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber da Costa went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Dolcet in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Prestes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Murilo Prestes made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Matadores de Luro's Delmiro Duardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the game, SORRISO E. C.'s Murilo Prestes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Duardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. 68 minutes into the game, Murilo Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Delmiro Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delmiro Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Murilo Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matadores de Luro's Delmiro Duardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes, Murilo Prestes made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side. Matadores de Luro's Delmiro Duardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Murilo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Prestes scored 16-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Duardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmiro Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber da Costa in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Murilo Prestes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SORRISO E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. When the referee ended the match the SORRISO E. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
