Murilo Prestes started the match with the kick off. Jelte Zevenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Prestes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jelte Zevenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Ben Wisgerhof had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Azevedo. SORRISO E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ben Wisgerhof was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Porreca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Murilo Prestes sped through Beetje Moe Re-United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jelte Zevenberg. In the 14th minute, Gustavo Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Romero came free, but Jelte Zevenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SORRISO E. C. from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Murilo Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelte Zevenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Cléber da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SORRISO E. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beetje Moe Re-United the free kick. After 42 played minutes SORRISO E. C. got a freekick which was hit by Cléber da Costa. Arturo Porreca scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Henk Weerd hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Porreca made a kick off. Beetje Moe Re-United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Hegeman in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Heck in the 59th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Porreca's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Wisgerhof in the 65th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Wisgerhof in the 68th minute of the match. Jelte Zevenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beetje Moe Re-United made a substitution. Mark Klaasens replaced Benjamin Heck. After 79 minutes SORRISO E. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Hegeman who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marco Hegeman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo did a great save. When Ben Wisgerhof came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Beetje Moe Re-United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Wisgerhof couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Beetje Moe Re-United got a freekick which was hit by Ben Wisgerhof. 86 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Prestes came free, but Jelte Zevenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Murilo Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Jelte Zevenberg. Beetje Moe Re-United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 91st minute Wilfredo Nesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Beetje Moe Re-United's Wilfredo Nesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caco Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Beetje Moe Re-United had played much better football throughout.
