Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Saul Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hansjörg Wastl. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Baumer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Florentino Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. Baldomero Hermon struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. 25 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Lastur came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Florentino Lastur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Florentino Lastur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hansjörg Wastl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Baldomero Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Lastur in the 40th minute of play. Henrique Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Ivakin during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ivakin. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Borges was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Henrique Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl got control of the ball when Saul Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florentino Lastur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hansjörg Wastl made a huge save. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Fința didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Marciano Min replaced Florentino Lastur. Tiberiu Fința kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Wastl having to interfere. Hansjörg Wastl made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marciano Min sent off a good shot on target. Marciano Min recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ivakin. Venancio Calisto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hansjörg Wastl came out and tried to block the shot, but Venancio Calisto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zuberbühler FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
