The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Suazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Suazo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Humberto Suazo sped through Vykans Vikingar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Martin Mutumba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolas Britto firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Guilherme Ramos got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Humberto Suazo made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 45 minutes ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Berart who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolas Britto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Trancoso made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Nicolas Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Suazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranolfo Piedrahita, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Petrosino in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Armando Petrosino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ranolfo Piedrahita's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Mats Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund replaced Martin Mutumba. In the 75th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Petrosino came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Marcus Ekrot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson was substituted for Börje Stål.
