Fabio Betadur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Andes FC - FSCMZ. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andres Quintan in the 31 minute of the game. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 35th minute of the match. Gustavo Scarpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Botello charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Botello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Higinio Botello got a free kick in the 46th minute. Gernando Azevedo scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Betadur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vince Easton to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Paskal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA DEL MONO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Andes FC - FSCMZ the free kick. After 52 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Paskal. 59 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Botello came free, but João Carlos Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the LA DEL MONO defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Betadur. The LA DEL MONO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Betadur should have stopped the shot. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gabriel Recife was substituted for Gernando Azevedo. 81 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Recife. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
