The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Hala Madrid Iraki FC from getting a goal against them. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Fender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Claes Fender had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuno Heiberg. Pendotiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claes Fender was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Pendotiba booed when Hala Madrid Iraki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Fender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kuno Heiberg having to make a save. Kuno Heiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Fender, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Claes Fender took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kuno Heiberg. Kuno Heiberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Mark Åberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valdo da Costa in the 29 minute of the game. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Claes Fender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Paraibano got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pastor Baraquiel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Fender in the 43rd minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Fender scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kuno Heiberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Chip Potterton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pendotiba the free kick. With a little luck, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez got control of the ball when Pastor Baraquiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Claes Fender's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuno Heiberg was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Baraquiel in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Montez saved Hala Madrid Iraki FC from getting behind. Claes Fender recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pendotiba's Kuno Heiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Fender in the 59th minute of play. Claes Fender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kuno Heiberg having to make a save. Kuno Heiberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claes Fender in the 62nd minute. If Claes Fender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Claes Fender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Johannes Sjögren replaced Claes Fender. If Johannes Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Sjögren got free with Kuno Heiberg in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Baraquiel in the 72nd minute of play. With 77 minutes on the clock, Chip Potterton commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Yin Ling Jian was substituted for Rabia Ünal. Cristian Hoffmann shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 88th minute when Yin Ling Jian was dribbling his way through Pendotiba's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. Yin Ling Jian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hala Madrid Iraki FC played a much better game than Pendotiba and deserved their victory. The Pendotiba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
