Ruben Montez made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Evaristo Cordareo sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Claes Fender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Evaristo Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Sebastián Erasto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Montez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
