If Ludwig Van der Borght had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Poppy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roderik Van den Berch came free, but Sertel Adıvar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Qu Ling Lin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poppy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qu Ling Lin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qu Ling Lin. In the 22nd minute, Roderik Van den Berch made a precise shot to the right of Sertel Adıvar. Poppy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dylon Chadwick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludwig Van der Borght in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sertel Adıvar saved Poppy FC from getting behind. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Poppy FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qu Ling Lin in the 35th minute. When SK Dreigoten's Roderik Van den Berch in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poppy FC's goalie prevented a goal. Seyrani Pamiroğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Christoffel Portmans made a huge save. Christoffel Portmans made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Qu Ling Lin sent off a good shot on target. Aziz Hallaçoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Christoffel Portmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match SK Dreigoten got a corner. Poppy FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Cimino ran over to the corner to take the kick. SK Dreigoten's Emilio Cimino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sertel Adıvar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qu Ling Lin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roderik Van den Berch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sertel Adıvar. The goal made the score 0-4. Sertel Adıvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderik Van den Berch, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Christoffel Portmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qu Ling Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qu Ling Lin in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffel Portmans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qu Ling Lin in the 65th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Ling Lin came free, but Christoffel Portmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Poppy FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Brack. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderik Van den Berch got free with Sertel Adıvar in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, SK Dreigoten's Roderik Van den Berch ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sertel Adıvar. Sertel Adıvar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Franky Dhollander got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th of the match, Nickolas Wittemans tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Sertel Adıvar got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 77th minute Qu Ling Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffel Portmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffel Portmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qu Ling Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Poppy FC's Dylon Chadwick got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Poppy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylon Chadwick to maneuver through the defense. Poppy FC's Damian Brack got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Damian Brack off the ground. Damian Brack hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ludwig Van der Borght blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertel Adıvar having to make a save. With his leg Sertel Adıvar managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when SK Dreigoten's Roderik Van den Berch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dylon Chadwick took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoffel Portmans. Christoffel Portmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The SK Dreigoten supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SK Dreigoten would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
