Federico Fe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Amílton Loyola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Fe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 19th minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Fe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Trapiche's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amílton Loyola took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche's zone, Dale Dolar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Fe came out of the goal and Dale Dolar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tião Paraíba hit a great ball. Federico Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Dolar's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Dale Dolar might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dolar ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gonzalo Fraco fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trapiche's protests and gave Gonzalo Fraco a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Trapiche:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s goal. Trapiche:s Federico Fe showed great skill when he stopped Radul Kokalov:s penalty. Federico Fe had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Radul Kokalov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Radul Kokalov took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Fe. Federico Fe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Barcellos Mineiro FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Dolar to make the kick off. Dale Dolar took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Fe. Federico Fe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Porfiro in the 54th minute of play. Dale Dolar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Fe having to make a save. Dale Dolar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dale Dolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Porfiro came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luisinho Uribe was substituted for Dale Dolar. After some careless play in the Trapiche defense, Luisinho Uribe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Fe. The Trapiche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Fe should have stopped the shot. Luisinho Uribe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Federico Fe made a huge save. In the 87thth minute of the game Luisinho Uribe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trapiche's Federico Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 minutes Trapiche's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílton Loyola who took care of the corner kick. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Uribe in the 91st minute of play. Clóvis Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Trapiche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Radziszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisinho Uribe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Federico Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
