In the 8th minute Marcus Fogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, İlyas Sarıdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Lucjan Popowicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Popowicz in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Lucjan Popowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Popowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Tomporowski. After a rather tough play, Amelinium Gdynia's Czeslaw Kopacz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Kopacz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amelinium Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportiv Medgidia the free kick. After 34 played minutes Amelinium Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Kopacz. In the 36th minute of the match, Marcus Fogel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicu Arghirescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amelinium Gdynia's Lucjan Popowicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ferdinand Hidiș kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Horea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Club Sportiv Medgidia defense, Florian Tomporowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. The Club Sportiv Medgidia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicu Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Fogel in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Czeslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Amelinium Gdynia's Lucjan Popowicz. But to his dismay, Lucjan Popowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Amelinium Gdynia's Lucjan Popowicz got a free kick in the 67th minute. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Fogel in the 70th minute of play. Amelinium Gdynia's Walmyr Zanette was substituted for Florian Tomporowski. In the 72nd match minute, Amelinium Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Kopacz to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Horea Aplugăriței. Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Popowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Popowicz in the 79th minute of play. Lucjan Popowicz took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Amelinium Gdynia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
