Daniel Grønningsæter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Kempka in the 2nd minute of the match. Sebastiano Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Kolek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trond Soltveit in the 6th minute of play forced MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Trond Soltveit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastiano Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's David Lima got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Inge Børseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Grønningsæter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Zuraw in the 14th minute. Sebastiano Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trond Soltveit, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rafal Czajkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Alexander Markussen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastiano Rossi skillfully saved the ball. Tomáš Kolek struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Sebastiano Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pladask. FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Pladask from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute of the match MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC got a corner. FC Pladask's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roch Zuraw ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Pladask's goalie and right to Dobromir Miazga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Pladask's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Grønningsæter was a little too slow when Dominik Gargasz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Dominik Gargasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, James Feldthaus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pladask's supporters crossed their fingers, but James Feldthaus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Grønningsæter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Zuraw in the 34th minute of play. Dominik Gargasz scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Grønningsæter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastiano Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Markussen in the 39th minute of play. FC Pladask were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kjetil-André Grønseth took the corner. 41 minutes into the game, one of MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. James Feldthaus shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Feldthaus in the 47th minute of play forced MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Sebastiano Rossi was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Tomáš Kolek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomáš Kolek really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Trond Soltveit's late challenge caught a MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trond Soltveit helped the player get up and apologised. Trond Soltveit kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomáš Kolek in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastiano Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes, Tomáš Kolek made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Sebastiano Rossi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Sylwester Kempka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Grønningsæter was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Dominik Gargasz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Daniel Grønningsæter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Miazga in the 78th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Daniel Grønningsæter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastiano Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Feldthaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomáš Kolek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sebastiano Rossi made a huge save.
