Øyvind Skoglund hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The Akademia Maliqi fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After taking down the ball on Akademia Maliqi's corner Emmanuel Urruti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel do Valle quite easily take care of the ball. After 27 played minutes Akademia Maliqi got a freekick which was hit by Oran Tahiri. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hieronim Psotka during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Amelinium Gdynia's goalkeeper Miguel do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emmanuel Urruti. Czeslaw Kopacz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Alexandru Nastac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Miguel do Valle made a huge save. After 35 played minutes, Akademia Maliqi's Emmanuel Urruti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel do Valle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akademia Maliqi reached it. The referee ignored Amelinium Gdynia's protests and gave Florian Tomporowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Amelinium Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Tomporowski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel do Valle. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandru Nastac to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alexandru Nastac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Amelinium Gdynia's zone, Yuri Ibrishimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel do Valle came out of the goal and Yuri Ibrishimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Marcus Fogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Alexandru Nastac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akademia Maliqi's Kudret Hajdari was substituted for Olsi Berberi. In the 80th minute Alexandru Nastac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Marcus Fogel made a precise shot to the right of Timoteo Lucero. Akademia Maliqi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
