In the 9th minute James Feldthaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Spivey in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amelinium Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kjetil-André Grønseth was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Pladask's players had a chance to rest. FC Pladask's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kjetil-André Grønseth in the 13th minute. FC Pladask's Kjetil-André Grønseth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel do Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Boguslaw Burdalski's late challenge caught a FC Pladask's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boguslaw Burdalski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Boguslaw Burdalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trond Soltveit, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Amelinium Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when James Feldthaus came free, but Miguel do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute FC Pladask were awarded a corner. Kjetil-André Grønseth went to the cornerflag to take it. Trond Soltveit made a great header on FC Pladask's corner, it was just that Amelinium Gdynia's Miguel do Valle managed to reach the ball for a save. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amelinium Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Feldthaus in the 20th minute of play forced Amelinium Gdynia's goalkeeper Miguel do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Amelinium Gdynia booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Markussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Spivey hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Miguel do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Feldthaus in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Amelinium Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Burdalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trond Soltveit in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half FC Pladask were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Fogel to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Stefan Tomaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amelinium Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Tomaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Grønningsæter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, FC Pladask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Markussen to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trond Soltveit in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel do Valle saved Amelinium Gdynia from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Amelinium Gdynia's zone, Trond Soltveit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel do Valle came out of the goal and Trond Soltveit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If James Feldthaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Walter Spivey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Walter Spivey. In the 80thth minute of the game Trond Soltveit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amelinium Gdynia's Miguel do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Lima scored 0-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Amelinium Gdynia's goalkeeper Miguel do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Feldthaus. Boguslaw Burdalski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Grønningsæter having to make a save. In the 94th minute, James Feldthaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 97thth minute of the game Walter Spivey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amelinium Gdynia's Miguel do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded FC Pladask left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amelinium Gdynia.
