Maverick Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Persepolis F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deivid Goiano took the corner. Maverick Futebol Clube's Vinícius Haaland was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santos Perez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gwidon Seliga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Neves came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Persepolis F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arden Poulin in the 17th minute. A collision led to Persepolis F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ildefonso Harkaitz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arden Poulin in the 22nd minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Persepolis F.C.'s Edinho Paraíba threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arden Poulin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Neves came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Gwidon Seliga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes, Ildefonso Harkaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Persepolis F.C. and the Maverick Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Persepolis F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ildefonso Harkaitz hit a great ball. Avery Merrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arden Poulin made a kick off. Justo Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wit Chuchro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes, Arden Poulin made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reynaldo Neves in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santos Perez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Carlomagno in the 65th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arden Poulin might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
