The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Scheer got free with Samuca Bezerra in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute Jaime Patrício shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil dos Santos took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Cerezo. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tiago Fontes hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Jaime Patrício put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Samuca Bezerra. Samuca Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Scheer in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardinho Abreu, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Rondinone F.C - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falcão Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Falcão Marques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Cerezo. Falcão Marques showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Chicão Matos's late challenge caught a S.C.CHUÍ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão Matos helped the player get up and apologised. Chicão Matos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Maciel. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Abreu in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Chicão Matos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Chicão Matos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Chicão Matos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 70 minutes into the game, one of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Samuca Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 75th minute of play.
