Armando Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Joris Scheer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C.CHUÍ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Joris Scheer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Paraíba having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Neves couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Neves to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris Scheer in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C.CHUÍ's Elder Donatello was substituted for Luis León. Edinho Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Scheer in the 73rd minute. S.C.CHUÍ's attentive Derwin Valensuela managed to snatch the ball when Fritz Salgado made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Wit Chuchro's late challenge caught a S.C.CHUÍ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Chuchro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Wit Chuchro hit a great ball. Joris Scheer struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Edinho Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.CHUÍ. 86 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Goiano came free, but Armando Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Deivid Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joris Scheer charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joris Scheer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joris Scheer kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Carlos Gamarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.C.CHUÍ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
