Reynaldo Neves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santos Perez firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 10 minutes, Arden Poulin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abderaouf Bensaoula kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Edinho Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Carlomagno went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Harkaitz in the 17th minute of play. Reynaldo Nevess short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Santos Perez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maverick Futebol Clube's Wit Chuchro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santos Perez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez got control of the ball when Reynaldo Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danny Craig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arden Poulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Perez made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Vinícius Haaland sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinícius Haaland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santos Perez. That made the score 1-3 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Reynaldo Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute Arden Poulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Haaland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Santos Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute Arden Poulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Reynaldo Neves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edinho Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arden Poulin's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arden Poulin in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Reynaldo Neves made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edinho Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Justo Carlomagno sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba got control of the ball when Arden Poulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Persepolis F.C. were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Maverick Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arden Poulin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Persepolis F.C.'s corner Arden Poulin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edinho Paraíba quite easily take care of the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Persepolis F.C. got a corner. Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arden Poulin ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Maverick Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Neves in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Persepolis F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the game, Cacá Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Persepolis F.C. the free kick. Cacá Cavalcante hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arden Poulin. After 76th play minutes Reynaldo Neves shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Santos Perez and just under the crossbar into goal. Persepolis F.C.'s Dennis Rudolph was substituted for Gwidon Seliga. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Maverick Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Edinho Paraíba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Santos Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Neves's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Justo Carlomagno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Persepolis F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Carlomagno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Reynaldo Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
