The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Felipe Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléber Santana in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Haeger saved Hermanö Oilers from getting behind. With a little luck, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Diguinho da Mata got control of the ball when Dave Di Filippo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oskar Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Cabral in the 8th minute of play. Dave Di Filippo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Diguinho da Mata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Norling to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the game Jiang Bin Yao made a throw-in which Felipe Cabral played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's zone, Dave Di Filippo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho da Mata came out of the goal and Dave Di Filippo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oskar Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diguinho da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 31st minute of play. Felipe Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The Hermanö Oilers fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After recieving a nice pass, Hermanö Oilers's Harel Minsky tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hermanö Oilers's zone, Felipe Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Haeger came out of the goal and Felipe Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Jiang Bin Yao fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's protests and gave Jiang Bin Yao a yellow card for diving instead. When Dave Di Filippo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Hermanö Oilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Di Filippo couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Harel Minsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diguinho da Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Oskar Haeger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Cabral. Ingemar Stålman might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diguinho da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Stålman ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Stålman came free, but Diguinho da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 93rd minute of play. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Santana in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hermanö Oilers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
