The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Elia Mascitti hit a great ball. Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdieri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Dave Di Filippo scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Di Lullo, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Dave Di Filippo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Di Lullo was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Aurelio Di Lullo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Di Filippo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Dave Di Filippo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hermanö Oilers's Deo Mičánek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 32nd minute of play. Dave Di Filippo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo came out and tried to block the shot, but Dave Di Filippo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Valentin Dusett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Di Filippo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Di Lullo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Fortunato made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valdieri! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Di Filippo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Di Lullo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Di Filippo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in Valdieri's zone, Dave Di Filippo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal and Dave Di Filippo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deo Mičánek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harel Minsky kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dave Di Filippo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Di Lullo was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman was substituted for Dave Di Filippo. In the 85th minute, Ingemar Stålman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermanö Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. If Harry Forsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Dusett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingemar Stålman scored 13-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elia Mascitti charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Mascitti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 99 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Elia Mascitti. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hermanö Oilers had played much better football throughout.
