Szczepan Ciechocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Emanuele Di Biagio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Kornasiewicz came free, but Peter Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuele Di Biagio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. io.dasola's Szczepan Ciechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior de Moraes in the 40th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Paul Şerbănoiu in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by io.dasola's Anibal Belmiro. B-S-L's Peter Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Di Biagio in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

io.dasola's Sylwester Kolano was substituted for Emanuele Di Biagio. io.dasola's Herminio Vitin was substituted for Gianpaolo Basso. Sylwester Kolano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 81st minute, Júnior de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Matorin in the 87th minute of play forced io.dasola's goalkeeper Szczepan Ciechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
