Wincent Jaroch was slow to take the kick. During this time Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players had a chance to rest. Wincent Jaroch made a great header on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner, it was just that Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel managed to reach the ball for a save. With an all-out effort, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Claudinho Taffarel threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edinson Haaland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Gliwicka Torcida were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edinson Haaland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edinson Haaland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinson Haaland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Frankfurter made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Pawel Turok sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 75 minutes, Edinson Haaland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinson Haaland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Roni Ronaldinho was substituted for Su Jian Jie. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Yuan Ting Chao replaced Lu Zhan Jian. Günther Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Claudinho Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chinese CJ Youth Academy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
