The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Szczepan Ciechocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinson Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szczepan Ciechocki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 6th minute, Edinson Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Szczepan Ciechocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. io.dasola's Anibal Belmiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bai Feng Xiang in the 10 minute of the game. Tytus Orling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to io.dasola getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Anibal Belmiro hit a great ball. io.dasola's Szczepan Ciechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edinson Haaland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinson Haaland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Ciechocki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinson Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Anibal Belmiro in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Börje Ivarsson. 24 minutes into the match, io.dasola's goal looked a bit too open when Edinson Haaland came free, but Szczepan Ciechocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Anibal Belmiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Su Jian Jie quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Szczepan Ciechocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Orling in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinson Haaland in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szczepan Ciechocki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Vitin to make the kick off. Szczepan Ciechocki had great luck who in the 54thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edinson Haaland from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.
