Darwin Núñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Guilherme Veiga made a huge save. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Echols in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jacinto Frascuelo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Jacinto Frascuelo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Chance Adams kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Llorienzo. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Llorienzo should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Rodney Hagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. At last the ball reached Romeo Zeigler at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Merengue FC. 2-1.
