In the 7th minute Domingo Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Roland Banaszak hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Merengue FC's zone, Faustão Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Llorienzo came out of the goal and Faustão Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Najarro. Mateo Llorienzo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Najarro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Domingo Jago made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Anaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 26 minutes, Domingo Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Jago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joona Peltomaa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacheros OFF's protests and gave Joona Peltomaa a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the game, one of Tacheros OFF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maxi Nuñez scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Anaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Melo came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Domingo Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Jago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxi Nuñez during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Mattin Solbeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Llorienzo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mattin Solbeida. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Banaszak was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jago in the 53rd minute of the match. With his leg Rodolfo Anaya managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Merengue FC's Roland Banaszak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Tacheros OFF's zone, Roland Banaszak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Anaya came out of the goal and Roland Banaszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, Tacheros OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joona Peltomaa to maneuver through the defense. Merengue FC's Edelmiro Quintyn shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodolfo Anaya but with some difficulty. Arnaldo Firman hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Anaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Jago's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 麦风适 kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Roland Banaszak came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Anaya could save by the left post. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tacheros OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edelmiro Quintyn was slow to take the kick. During this time Merengue FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Darwin Núñez got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-3. 82 minutes into the match. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Faustão Melo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Najarro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mateo Llorienzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacheros OFF. After 95 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Firman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Quintyn got free with Rodolfo Anaya in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite being the better team, Merengue FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
