A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Tor-Kristian Fosse hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Gregório Pimentel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sturle Åsland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Varela in the 9th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Sturle Åsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, FC Kukova's Gong Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sturle Åsland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gong Yang scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sturle Åsland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sturle Åsland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Soter in the 16th minute of the match. Sturle Åsland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Soter in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necdet Baysu to maneuver through the defense. Gregório Pimentel took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Haroldo Gaitan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhu Zhen Lin charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zhu Zhen Lin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Åsnes booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhu Zhen Lin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Soter in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sturle Åsland saved Åsnes from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Varela came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åsnes's Sturle Åsland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Soter in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Blas Soter notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Åsnes's Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Soter to make the kick off. Åsnes's Sturle Åsland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Åsnes from getting a goal against them. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Šagáth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Blas Soter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sturle Åsland, 0-6. If Blas Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Ray Man hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sturle Åsland came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kukova's Blas Soter. But to his dismay, Blas Soter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Gong Yang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sturle Åsland. That made the score 0-8 in the 64 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Soter came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kukova's goalkeeper Róbert Behúň, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match Åsnes got a corner. FC Kukova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kim Alnes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Åsnes's Poyraz Erçetin to fire away a dangerous shot which Róbert Behúň despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Blas Soter notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Åsnes's Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 minutes, John-Einar Bøen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the FC Kukova players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Einar Bøen to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, FC Kukova's Blas Soter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sturle Åsland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 91st match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Inge Nysæter to maneuver through the defense. When Gregório Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC Kukova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregório Pimentel couldn't finish the play. John-Einar Bøen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When FC Kukova's Blas Soter in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsnes's goalie prevented a goal. FC Kukova played a much better game than Åsnes and deserved their victory. The Åsnes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
